Exactly when do allowances reset?

Monthly plan allowances reset at the start of each UTC calendar month, not on the subscription billing date. Minute, hour, and day fair-use safeguards reset with their corresponding UTC server window; separate 31-day safeguards reset with their fixed server window. Unused allowance does not roll over. The Free plan's 30 AI-enriched saves are lifetime and never refresh; upgrading does not erase Free usage, so returning to Free restores the remaining lifetime balance rather than granting 30 new saves.

Does unlimited link saving really mean unlimited?

It means Glimpse does not apply a plan counter to ordinary link saving or manual organization. Practical limits such as available device storage, operating-system restrictions, unsupported links, and misuse protections still apply.

AI enrichment is limited to 3 saves per minute, 30 per UTC day, and 500 per fixed 31-day safeguard window. Ask Glimpse is limited to 6 requests per minute, 60 per UTC hour, 20 per UTC day, and 600 per fixed 31-day safeguard window. Semantic search and other general connected model requests are limited to 20 per minute, 300 per UTC hour, 500 per UTC day, and 2000 per fixed 31-day safeguard window. Pro search has no separate monthly plan quota, but these technical safeguards still apply.

What happens when I reach an allowance?

Your library does not disappear and saving does not stop. New links are kept without AI-added context when the AI-save allowance is exhausted. Search and Ask explain when their connected access is unavailable. Monthly or daily access resumes at the relevant UTC reset; the Free lifetime AI-save allowance only changes if you upgrade.

Can I create another account or reinstall to reset an allowance?

No. Usage controls may be associated with the verified account and the durable app installation. Switching accounts, clearing app data, reinstalling, automating requests, or otherwise attempting to bypass an allowance can be blocked under the Terms of Use.

What happens to my allowance if I cancel Pro?

Accepted Answer

Cancellation stops the next renewal. Pro normally remains active until the paid period expires. After that, the Free plan applies again, including whatever remains of the original 30 lifetime AI-save allowance; cancelling or resubscribing does not create a fresh Free allowance.

What happens if an AI feature is unavailable?

Glimpse keeps the core library usable. Saves remain saved, search can use keywords, and places that benefit from generated text use a simple fallback or explain that the connected feature is temporarily unavailable.

Can I back up my library?

Yes. You can create and restore a backup file, choose a folder for it, schedule automatic backups after choosing that folder, and share a backup to another storage location you control.

Where is my saved library stored?

Your saved links, summaries, tags, Collections, and notes are stored on your device. They are separate from the account, subscription, and limited product-analytics information needed to operate connected parts of Glimpse.

What is processed when I use an AI feature?

Only the information needed for that action. For example, adding context to a save uses details from that link; an Ask response uses your question and the relevant selected-source context. Glimpse does not send your entire library as one bulk upload.

Are notifications local?

Notification delivery is scheduled on your device. The wording may be drafted through an AI request using the context needed for that notification, and Glimpse uses fallback wording when that request is unavailable.

Do I need an account?

Yes. The current Android release uses Google Sign-In. Sign in with Apple will be offered with the iOS version when it becomes available. Account information is used for access, subscription status, and usage allowances; it is handled separately from the library stored on your device.
