By downloading, installing, or using Glimpse, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the application. These terms apply to all users of Glimpse regardless of how they access it.

Glimpse is an Android application that allows you to save, organize, and explore web links using AI-powered features including categorization, semantic search, and conversational retrieval. The app processes data locally on your device and uses third-party AI APIs (Google Gemini and Voyage AI) for specific features. Glimpse is provided as-is, free of charge in its current release.

Certain AI features in Glimpse require API keys that you supply (Google Gemini API key, Voyage AI API key). You are responsible for obtaining these keys in accordance with the respective providers' terms of service, and for any costs incurred through your use of those APIs. Glimpse does not proxy, intermediate, or pay for your API usage. Costs are governed entirely by your agreements with Google and Voyage AI.

You retain full ownership of the links, notes, and data you save in Glimpse. Because your data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to Glimpse servers, we make no claim over it. You are responsible for ensuring that the content you save and the links you access comply with applicable law.

You agree not to use Glimpse to save or distribute illegal content, to circumvent any rate limits or terms of service of third-party APIs, or to reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the application except as permitted by applicable law. You may not use Glimpse in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the APIs it depends on.

Glimpse integrates with Google Gemini, Voyage AI, and public web APIs. Your use of these services through Glimpse is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of these third-party services. Links to third-party privacy policies are provided in our Privacy Policy.

Glimpse is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. AI-generated summaries, tags, and answers are probabilistic outputs — they may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. You should not rely on AI-generated content for decisions requiring professional judgment.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the publisher of Glimpse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the application, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

We may update these terms as the application evolves. The effective date at the top of this page reflects when the current version took effect. Continued use of the application after an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
